It follows Steve Aoki on his journey in the lead-up to playing the biggest show of his career at Madison Square Garden - the introspective doc examining the driving force behind his passion. Daredevil showman, former Olympian, Benihana founder and Steve's looming father figure - the documentary centres around his complex yet loving relationship with his father Rocky Aoki.
In addition to this, the documentary follows the story of one of the most prestigious record labels from the ground up. Founded by Steve in 1996, Dim Mak Records has broken bands such as Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, Klaxons, and The Gossip and has now put out over 500 releases to date.
