Pacha New York enters a new era at the former Brooklyn Mirage blending global club heritage with New-York electronic music scene from June to October 2026.

The Brooklyn Mirage is set to reopen in 2026 under a new identity: Pacha New York. More than a rebrand, the transition marks a structural shift for one of New York’s most influential dance music spaces, positioning it within a broader cultural framework shaped by decades of international club heritage.

For all its global pull, the heartbeat of Pacha New York remains unmistakably Brooklyn.

The change follows a long-term agreement granting FIVE Holdings full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and the adjacent Great Hall complex. The partnership combines the local legacy of the recapitalised Avant Gardner with the global experience of Pacha, whose influence has shaped dancefloor culture for more than five decades.

" New York - the financial and cultural capital of the world - represents more than a market expansion for FIVE and Pacha; it marks a defining moment in our global journey. This move reflects the strength of our vision, the resilience of our platform, and our ambition to help shape the future of entertainment on a global stage. We are entering a city that influences how the world thinks, creates, and connects - and we do so with bold imagination, long-term commitment, and the confidence to build destinations that resonate far beyond their physical walls. For us, New York is not simply a new chapter - it is a statement of intent about the scale of our aspirations and the cultural impact we are here to create. "

FIVE Holdings’s assuming the demolition of Mirage and the subsequent rebuild go smoothly, similar to Mirage’s former schedule. Demolition of the Mirage was approved last month and was set to start on Monday, February 2, according to City and Community Board records. A letter submitted to Community Board 1 says the full demolition of its current three-story structure is expected to be completed in April or May, with a cost of $1.5 million (plus a $1,271.40 filing fee).

Set to run from June to October 2026, Pacha New York’s inaugural season is designed to bring international headliners and New York-based artists into the same programme, reflecting the city’s pluralistic electronic music landscape. Large-scale productions, crossover performances and club-focused programming will coexist within a venue historically associated with ambition and scale.

We are thrilled to partner with FIVE and Pacha to bring a world-class operator to Brooklyn. (…) The partnership with FIVE and Pacha is about restoring the venue as a beloved destination for music fans, and we look forward to seeing it elevated to even greater heights,

Beyond the summer months, the upgraded Great Hall will operate year-round, extending the project into a multi-genre platform for live music and contemporary sound.

While global in reach, the venue’s curatorial direction remains anchored in Brooklyn, with continued collaboration with local artists, collectives and promoters—ensuring that Pacha New York evolves not as a replacement, but as the next chapter in the site’s cultural lineage.
