Armin van Buuren will launch a new Ibiza chapter in 2026 as A State of Trance arrives at [UNVRS] for a five-date residency marking the brand’s 25th anniversary. Taking place every Monday from 7 September to 5 October, the series will see the Dutch artist perform extended five-hour sets, transforming the hyperclub into a focal point for the global trance community.

Originally launched in 2001 as a radio show, A State of Trance has grown into one of electronic music’s most influential platforms, reaching more than 44 million weekly listeners across over 80 countries and surpassing 1,200 episodes. The project has since evolved into a worldwide network of events and releases that connects a vast international audience through a shared sonic identity.

At [UNVRS], the concept enters a new setting. Designed for large-scale immersive experiences, the venue combines advanced audiovisual production with a spatial architecture conceived for high-impact dancefloor moments. Within this environment, van Buuren will construct extended musical narratives across trance, progressive and melodic sounds.
Widely regarded as one of the defining figures of the genre, van Buuren has shaped the global trance movement for more than two decades through his recordings, festival performances and the development of Armada Music. The Ibiza residency offers a focused celebration of that legacy while positioning A State of Trance within a new generation of club spaces.
