As Elrow unveils Bhūtarāh new theme, it will be premiered at UNVRS Ibiza on 6 June 2026 with Marco Faraone, Luciano and Manda Moor taking the decks..

On 6 June 2026, elrow will unveil Bhūtarāh, a new large-scale theme debuting at [UNVRS]. Conceived in collaboration with South African multidisciplinary artist Dan Popper, the project marks one of the defining artistic statements of the Ibiza season — a work that extends beyond scenography into something closer to a living, evolving environment.

This premiere forms the cornerstone of elrow’s 2026 programme at [UNVRS], joining a rotating series of established universes — Hallucinarium, Neo Kaos Garden, Delusionville, Nowmads: New World — alongside a yet-unannounced closing concept. Together, they reaffirm elrow’s position not simply as a party, but as a continuous exercise in world-building.

Bhūtarāh: Between Nature, Myth and Energy

The name Bhūtarāh offers a key to understanding the concept’s deeper intent. Derived from Sanskrit, bhūta refers to the fundamental elements of nature, while rāh evokes the idea of radiating energy. Combined, they suggest an ancestral force — an invisible intelligence that exists between the physical and the spiritual.

Rather than functioning as a static theme, Bhūtarāh is conceived as a living organism. Matter shifts into sensation, space transforms into narrative, and the environment itself becomes an active participant in the experience. In this framework, the dancefloor is no longer a surface, but a terrain — one that evolves in response to movement, sound and collective presence.

At its centre stands the Mother of the Forest, a monumental figure merging human anatomy with organic structures. Roots, branches and body intertwine to form a singular entity — a symbolic anchor around which the entire universe unfolds. Surrounding her, mythological creatures and forest spirits populate the space, drawing inspiration from natural ecosystems as well as spiritual iconography.

The scenography extends this narrative into a journey. Two colossal hands define the entrance: one protective, the other inviting. Beyond them, visitors move through a sequence of environments that mirror an internal transformation as much as a physical one.

Bhutarah will very likely be the most special theme we have ever created in the history of the brand. It is a powerful fusion between organic forms and elrow’s signature chaos and creativity.

Dan Popper’s Living Architectures

The collaboration with Dan Popper introduces a distinct artistic language into elrow’s universe. Internationally recognised for his monumental sculptures, Popper has built a practice that merges human forms with organic structures, creating installations that function as both visual landmarks and experiential spaces.

His work — previously showcased at festivals such as Afrikaburn, Boom Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival — consistently blurs the boundary between art and environment. Rather than existing as objects to be observed, his creations operate as portals, inviting interaction and immersion.

Within Bhūtarāh, this approach finds a natural extension. Sculpture becomes architecture, architecture becomes landscape, and the audience becomes part of the composition itself. The collaboration results in a space where art is not simply present, but activated.

The choice of [UNVRS] as the setting for Bhūtarāh is no coincidence. Developed by The Night League, the venue has been designed as a next-generation environment where technology, architecture and production operate as a unified system.

Often described as the world’s first “hyperclub,” [UNVRS] expands the scale of nightlife while maintaining the immediacy of a club experience. Its infrastructure allows for a level of spatial and visual complexity rarely achievable in traditional venues, making it an ideal canvas for a concept of this magnitude.

Within this context, Bhūtarāh reaches its full potential. Light, sound, scenography and movement are integrated into a single language, transforming the dancefloor into a dynamic ecosystem rather than a fixed stage.

Opening Soundtrack: A Carefully Curated Line-Up

The debut of Bhūtarāh will be accompanied by a line-up designed to reflect both the intensity and the diversity of the concept. Marco Faraone leads the opening night alongside Luciano, whose refined, groove-driven approach contrasts with the energy of Manda Moor and elrow mainstay Bastian Bux.

Rather than serving as a backdrop, the music acts as a structural element of the experience, shaping the rhythm of the environment and guiding the audience through its different states.

The name Bhutarah is an invented word created by combining two words from the Sanskrit language. Bhuta refers to all the elements found in nature: earth, water, fire and air; and Ra represents the fire that radiates. I’m super excited about what’s coming, I can’t wait to see it!

- Dan Popper

A Rotating Universe Across the Season

While Bhūtarāh represents the season’s most anticipated debut, it forms part of a broader creative ecosystem. Across the summer, elrow will rotate six distinct themes, each offering its own narrative and visual identity.

From the psychedelic distortions of Hallucinarium to the futuristic organic tension of Neo Kaos Garden, and from the inverted world of Delusionville to the exploratory narrative of Nowmads: New World, the programme is designed as a continuous cycle of reinvention. A final, undisclosed concept will close the season, reinforcing the idea of elrow as a constantly evolving entity.

With Bhūtarāh, elrow pushes further into a territory it has been gradually defining over the past decade: the transformation of nightlife into a form of collective ritual. Here, the club is no longer a place of passive consumption. It becomes a space of participation, where each individual contributes to the atmosphere, the narrative and the energy of the experience. The boundaries between performer and audience dissolve, replaced by a shared, immersive presence.

As elrow continues to expand its creative language, this new chapter at [UNVRS] signals a broader shift in how clubbing is conceived — not as an event, but as an environment to be entered, explored and lived. A space where sound, art and human connection converge into something fluid, evolving and, ultimately, transformative.
