
Jackmaster died at 38
Scottish DJ Jack Revill, known as Jackmaster, passed away in Ibiza on the morning of October 12 due to complications from an accidental head injury.
Jack Revill was a beloved figure in the electronic music world, having made a significant impact both behind the decks and through his pioneering work at the Numbers label, which he co-founded. Born and raised in Glasgow, Jackmaster’s love for music began early, working at the renowned Rubadub record store from the age of 14. His career quickly took off as he landed a residency at the Monox club by the age of 17, setting the stage for his rise as one of the most respected DJs of his generation. A heartfelt statement from the family reads :
