Tomorrowland and Baobab Collection unveil their new candle collection set blending fragrance, design and music into a sensory experience.

A Continued Dialogue Between Fragrance, Design and Culture

After three editions, Tomorrowland and Baobab Collection return with a fourth limited-edition candle collection, extending a collaboration that sits at the intersection of design, craftsmanship and sensory experience. Now available online and in selected stores, the new release refines the identity of the partnership, introducing a more nuanced visual language while maintaining the core elements that have defined its success.

A Signature Scent Rooted in Nature

At the centre of the collection remains Tomorrowland’s signature fragrance—a composition built around pear, lily of the valley and moss. The scent draws its inspiration from De Schorre in Boom, the natural setting that hosts the festival each summer.

Fresh and vegetal, the blend is designed to evoke balance rather than intensity, translating the outdoor atmosphere of the festival into a domestic environment. The result is a fragrance that prioritises clarity and softness, aligning with the collection’s broader emphasis on harmony.

A Visual Language Drawn from Tomorrowland’s Mythology

This fourth edition has been reimagined introducing deep blues contrasted with gold detailing, adorned with dreamlike motifs blending fauna, flora, and imaginary creatures to weave a visual symphony of the festival's magical worlds. marking a shift toward a more refined aesthetic. Each candle is wrapped in hand-drawn illustrations referencing key elements from Tomorrowland’s visual universe like mythical birds, delicate butterflies, and marine creatures from Planaxis.

At its centre stands the The Mother Tree, a recurring symbol within the festival’s narrative framework, representing growth and interconnectedness. Around it, a series of motifs unfold: a mythical bird associated with freedom and unity, butterflies evoking transformation, and the Book of Wisdom, a cornerstone of Tomorrowland’s storytelling.

Additional elements, including the Melodia harp and the Clarion hummingbird, anchor the design in music, while references to aquatic worlds from the Planaxis theme introduce a sense of depth and exploration. Together, these components form a cohesive visual composition, positioning each candle as both object and narrative fragment.

Craftsmanship as Foundation

Beyond its aesthetic, the collection remains grounded in a precise manufacturing process. Each piece is produced through a combination of traditional techniques and carefully sourced materials.

The silkscreen decoration is applied by hand, while the wax is poured manually to ensure consistency and finish. Materials are sourced across Europe, with mineral wax from Germany and fragrance compositions developed in France, reflecting Baobab Collection’s established approach to quality and traceability.

Extending the Experience Through Sound

Each candle is accompanied by a curated playlist developed by Tomorrowland, accessible via a QR code embedded within the packaging. Designed to match the 36-hour burn time of the largest format, the selection moves through downtempo, ambient and melodic territories.

Artists such as RÜFÜS DU SOL, Parra for Cuva, Jan Blomqvist, Bob Moses, Elderbrook, WhoMadeWho and Vintage Culture contribute to a sonic environment that mirrors the collection’s atmosphere. The intention is not to replicate the festival, but to extend its sensorial logic—where light, scent and sound operate together.

Rather than functioning as a simple branded object, the collection positions itself within a broader movement: the transformation of cultural experiences into lasting, everyday forms. This collaboration reflects Tomorrowland's expansion strategy beyond events company and celebrating the craft & work of their creative team by transforming the festival into a lifestyle brand synonymous with the art of living we detailed here.

The Tomorrowland x Baobab new collection prices range from 55,00€ to 125,00€ and is available now here.
