AlphaTheta unveils the CDJ-3000X : Cloud-Ready & USB-C
AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X new DJ player brings new features as Wi-Fi (Cloud support), USB-C, 10.1-inch capacitive screen, full track caching & Smart Hot Cues.
AlphaTheta, the company behind Pioneer DJ, has unveiled the CDJ-3000X, a next-generation professional DJ player that redefines performance standards while preserving the legacy of the iconic CDJ line. Designed for a new era where connectivity, flexibility, and reliability matter as much as sound, the CDJ-3000X integrates Wi-Fi, cloud support, and refined usability into a machine built for both the booth and the big stage.

Smarter Hot Cue Performance
The CDJ-3000X refines cueing with intelligent Hot Cue features. Touch Cue lets DJs preview any point in a waveform directly in headphones, while Smart Cue ensures new Hot Cues overwrite current cue points automatically. Gate Cue adds further creative flexibility by triggering sound only while a button is pressed. Together, these functions turn cueing into a more fluid, real-time performance tool, encouraging improvisation and live rework.
Full Track Cache: A Safety Net for the Booth
One of the CDJ-3000X’s most significant updates is full track caching. Once a track is loaded, the entire file is stored in the unit’s memory, ensuring uninterrupted playback even if a USB drive is accidentally removed or an internet connection drops. This simple yet vital addition eliminates one of the booth’s most common stress points and guarantees continuity in live performance.
Enhanced Jog Wheel
The jog wheel has also been re-engineered with a wider range of tension adjustment, allowing DJs to fine-tune the feel to their preference. Whether subtly nudging tempo or executing dynamic scratches, the improved sensitivity ensures greater precision in BPM alignment and control. Combined with the durability of redesigned play and cue buttons, the enhancements give the 3000X a more responsive and reliable touch under the most demanding conditions.
