AlphaTheta unveils the CDJ-3000X : Cloud-Ready & USB-C

Built-In Wi-Fi: Cloud-Ready Performance

For the first time on a CDJ, the 3000X introduces integrated Wi-Fi, enabling DJs to access cloud libraries and streaming services directly, without the need for LAN cables or complex setups. By simply connecting to a network, the player allows instant access to rekordbox CloudDirectPlay and streaming platforms, bringing the full scope of online music into the booth. With this move, AlphaTheta acknowledges the growing importance of flexibility, where DJs prepare and play seamlessly between USB drives, laptops, and the cloud.

USB-C Connectivity

Alongside Wi-Fi integration, the CDJ-3000X introduces a USB-C port on the front panel. This addition enables faster, more reliable connections to both USB keys and laptops, streamlining workflows across devices. Whether transferring files, preparing on rekordbox, or performing live with a computer, the universal port ensures compatibility with the latest hardware. It marks a subtle but critical step toward a more versatile booth ecosystem.

Bigger, Smarter Screen

At the centre of the player is a 10.1-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen—larger and more tactile than its predecessor. Moving beyond simple touch navigation, the capacitive panel offers pressure-sensitive control, giving DJs a more precise and responsive browsing experience. The upgraded interface also unlocks advanced features:

• Live playlist editing, including reordering tracks directly from the unit.

• Hide track information, allowing DJs to obscure metadata when performing, a useful tool for those who want to preserve mystery or exclusivity in their sets.
