After it’s been a song sensation across the globe; here is the incredible and mesmerizing David Guetta ft Justin Bieber – 2U (Official Video).

The dizzying David Guetta ft Justin Bieber – 2U (Official Video) revolves around a couple in the midst of a heated argument that looks like it could spell the death of their relationship. The moment begins to repeat itself, but we notice subtle differences in what’s being replayed. It quickly becomes apparent that we’re seeing alternative versions of what could have and what might have been if something different had happened. The story unfolds through animation, zombie apocalypses, 1950s musicals and much more as the possibilities for this couple continue to multiply. Who knows how it will really end for them? Keep watching and you’ll find out.

The intriguing video was directed by the Brewer directing duo who joined the roster of hybrid production company PRETTYBIRD in 2012. With backgrounds in both illustration and production, the two brothers are comprehensive and visionary artists, able to independently tackle writing, pre-visualization, art direction, editing and special effects. They had the following to say about their creative process and concept for the David Guetta ft Justin Bieber – 2U (Official Video) :

‘’When we first heard David Guetta ft Justin Bieber – 2U (Official Video) we were struck by how the music and lyrics supported each other. The song perfectly captures the emotional phenomenon of loving someone to the point where there’s nothing you wouldn’t do for them. And we thought it would be great to embrace this idea, being as it’s one of our most beloved cultural clichés, and repeat it over and over again to try to see if through repetition a new perspective, a new deconstruction, could happen. It’s like saying a word over and over again, eventually it starts to lose its shape. We hope people are compelled to watch it multiple times because there is a lot of fun stuff hiding in the frames’’.

It’s a wonderfully complex piece of work whose sophistication matches up perfectly with this supremely classy slice of pop music. It’s going to be unavoidable in the months to come.
