The Legends Are Back
Belgium has always played a very prominent role in the origins and development of electronic music. There are few other countries in the world that have seen such a flourishing of the techno scene, and one of the most important key factors has certainly been I Love Techno. After being absent from Belgium for a number of years, one of the most legendary parties in the history of dance is coming to Tomorrowland.
And that's not the only legend that will be returning, because with Trance Energy, the world's largest and most legendary trance party will be brought back to life for the first time after all these years.
Trance is currently experiencing a huge international revival and at Tomorrowland, you’ll have the chance to discover no fewer than 4 trance hosts who will be bringing unique line-ups with them. Along with Trance Energy, Aly & Fila with their Future Sound of Egypt and Trance Addict, one of the most talked about new hosts is A State of Trance, the radio show by Armin van Buuren. Under this name, especially for the occasion, he’s throwing a trance party like never before, and one that guests are travelling from around the globe to experience.
The Sound Of Belgium
There could be no Tomorrowland without the label Bonzai that will celebrate its 25th birthday at the 2017 festival. And there will be even more Belgian retro with the nostalgic I Love The 90’s and the retro house diehards Age of Love.
The Sound of Belgium will pay tribute to the history of the Belgian dance scene. Forma.T will welcome the French label Hungry Music as guest and the pirates of the Belgian Feestgedruis will hoist their flag over De Schorre with Ketaloco and Hush Hush.
Krankenhaus is a brand-new name that will appear in the Rave Cave, the Ghent-based house label We Play House Recordings will return and Radio Ultra Modern will create their typical ‘eclectic cabaret’ vibe for two whole weekends.
