Billboard report that after parting ways with Ron Laffitte, Swedish House Mafia have now signed a deal with The Weeknd' manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby.
Named 2020’s manager of the year by Variety, Wassim "Sal" Slaiby is now the new manager of Swedish House Mafia but he's still working with the likes of The Weeknd, Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana and Doja Cat.
He's the third manager in the last decade for the Swedish trio after taking over for Patriot Management' agent Ron Laffite, both following the footsteps of the legendary Amy Thomson who stop working with the trio in 2019.
New track registered into ASCAP’s musical database
This signed deal follows the trio’s confirmed studio session in February & the recent addition of “Not Yesterday” to ASCAP’s musical database who has been discovered by the reddit group r/SwedishHouseMafia.
Although there’s no official news on a deal with a new label, it seems all going into a return of the Swedish House Mafia in the front of the scene for 2021. Wait & see.
