The 2022 edition of Amsterdam Dance Event is now around the corner while the world is gathering, the program is now finalized.

World class artists take the stage at ADE Pro

With numerous globally renowned artists and industry leaders added to the line up, recent highlights include Hardwell, speaking in depth about his recent comeback after a three year hiatus and the topic of mental health, Martin Garrix in conversation with Joseph Capriati, a special edition of RA Exchange live with Peggy Gou, a live NFT minting masterclass and demonstration by Richie Hawtin, and the rare chance to see Reinier Zonneveld‘s studio gear up close.

These additions join an already impressive program, which includes keynotes and discussions by industry leaders at Warner Music, Coachella, TikTok, Q-Dance, Billboard, FUGA, shesaid.so, YouTube, Meta and more.In addition to the previously confirmed roster including Diplo, Suzanne Ciani, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Youssou N’Dour, Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein (composers of Stranger Things), Seth Troxler and Joris Voorn, many others have joined the immense program.

Hardwell: The Return

Almost four years after he announced an extended sabbatical while at the absolute top of his game, Hardwell returned to the stage this year. At ADE, he’ll be talking about his new work and future production plans, why he took a sabbatical, what he learned in that time, and what he’ll be doing differently in this new phase of his career.

Martin Garrix & Joseph Capriati: Different Paths, Same End Game

Martin Garrix and Joseph Capriati have been friends for years, and at ADE Pro they’ll be discussing how they each approach their productions, who or what they look to for inspiration, who their production/artist heroes are, the importance of friends, the ups and downs of being famous, and much more.

The Future for Electronic Music

ADE Pro also hosts a series of futuristic initiatives as part of its focus on the future of live events. One such initiative, ADE Blendrealities, transforms home base Felix Meritis into a hybrid VR space, where discussions are hosted on artificial intelligence, Web3 and the Metaverse.

Other key topics and themes covered at ADE Pro include sustainability for the live scene, mental health, inclusivity and social change, with Ukrainian artist Nastia and Lesia Vasylenko (Ukraine Parliament) in the discussion ‘Ukraine: How Can We Help?’, as well as talks on circular event management, gender representation in dance music and more.
