In 2016, Djakarta Warehouse Project made its biggest edition to date, with 90,000 fans, including over 20,000 international visitors from over 32 countries.

Set across three colossal stages, including the iconic Garudha Land Main Stage, fans were treated to electrifying sets from 52 acts that included Carl Cox’s first ever Indonesian show and headline performances from Martin Garrix, Hardwell, DJ Snake, Zedd, W&W, Lost Frequencies, Blasterjaxx and KSHMR.

Providing healthy diversity across the weekend, Friday’s Neon Jungle stage welcomed UK production duo Snakehips (Asia debut performance), Platinum Award winning band Rudimental, Norwegian DJ/producer Alan Walker of the chart topping single “Faded“, and HARD head honcho Destructo, who invited a cohort of ecstatic fans to dance on stage throughout the entirety of his set.

Offering an entirely different experience altogether, Friday’s Cosmic Station stage hosted a selection of burgeoning progressive house DJs including Brennan Heart, MaRLo and Christina Novelli amongst others. Relive the day 1 with the video below :

Day Two of the festivities saw the Asian debut of Life in Color Kingdom. Dubbed “The World’s Largest Paint Party” thousands of up-for-it fans were adorned with paint throughout the night to the energizing sounds of Duke Dumont, GTA, Yellow Claw, Ummet Ozcan and more.

For fans of the underground, the Darker Side stage offered an array of deeper soundscapes, including the appearance of one very special guest in particular. Following a historic 10-hour set at Space Ibiza’s last ever Closing Party in October, DWP 2016 welcomed legendary kingpin Carl Cox for his very first show in Indonesia, where he delivered an incredible two hours of the finest house and techno to close out a truly magical weekend in Jakarta. Carl was joined by Canadian producer Tiga and Knee Deep in Sound boss Hot Since 82 among others. Relive the day 2 with the video below :
