Tom Staar feat. Martina Camargo - Me Sueno
Multi-faceted super talented english producer Tom Staar finally release his 2016′ autumn monster on his own label Cartel. Featuring hot latin vocals of Colombian singer Martina Camargo, the track is called “Me Sueno“. It’s everything Tom Staar and Cartel aim to be; hot blooded, passionate exciting and truly captivating dance music.

Tom Staar has always championed his own sound within a hugely competitive scene and joins label partner Kryder in advocating bringing the groove back to the main room. This sound, characterized by soulful rhythms, relentless energy and vast influences and sounds from the wider world of house music led to the unofficially coined “Groove Cartel” to join offically to live in infamy as simply “Cartel“. With the record label pushing their forward thinking sound to the masses with live events as well as emotive releases throughout the year.

The whole idea behind Cartel was to incorporate the latino, tribal vibe to our music. After a long time looking for a hook from old Latin records I finally came across the sample from Martina Camargo. I made the record back in March and spent the summer tweaking it for the dance floor. After amazing reactions at my shows around the world I knew it was ready !– Tom Staar

After releasing the highly acclaimed club EP “Snakes & Daggers” by Eddie Thoneick, now Tom Staar, co leader of the Cartel label, makes his entry with “Me Sueno” (“I’m dreaming”), a release strongly influenced by the samba and carnival energy with the horn fanfare and bright, pumping percussion to rally the followers of the Cartel movement, featuring the harmonic siren like vocals of Colombian singer Martina Camargo.

Released on Cartel Recordings, “Me Sueno” is now available to download on Beatport.
