After scored hits trough many tracks on Defected Records, OFF Recordings and Spinnin’ Deep, Franky Ricardo just released a new EP on Simma Black that provide love from both the underground and tech-house minded dancefloors.
Originally released in 1987 by the american singer-songwriter Joyce Simms and produced by Kurtis Mantronix, “Come Into My Life” became somewhat of a dance floor classic in decades to come. The vocals in Franky Rizardo’s track come from Tess Leah, who Franky previously has worked with on releases by Defected Records.
The original mix is modern house 4/4 sound with touches of contemporary garage nuances. When Tess Leah’s vocal saunters in, already were excited. Quickly the drop comes, bringing with it a metallic, bulbous bass line and the full soulful vocal hook. Quickly it becomes a vibrant, punchy house groove that will work effortlessly on dance floors.
Released on Sima Black, “Come Into My Life” is available now on Beatport.
