A new video was released today on his Youtube channel showing behind the scenes of Avicii – Tough Love ft. Agnes, Vargas & Lagola production.
The video, a mix of interviews with Vincent Pontare and Salem Al Fakir (AKA Vargas & Lagola) and footage recorded at the time of production of the piece shows Tim Bergling producing the piece “Tough Love” in the studio.
The duo explained that the track was 80% finished at the time of Avicii’ death in April 2018 and features vocals from Pontare and his wife – award winning Swedish singer/songwriter – Agnes after they were asked by Tim’ family based on the messages Tim’ sent when we was working on the track.

The producers explained later that the track features a melodic passage inspired by Bergling’s time spent studying the music of northwest India.

The track will be released next 9th May 2019 at 00.00 CEST Friday on Avicii Recordings AB, under exclusive license to Universal Music.
