Spanish DJ notoriety JP Candela has teamed up with house legend Robbie Rivera for the exciting, latin tinged house tune “Morenita“. Aptly released on Cartel Recordings, it’s a sure shot highlight for the Kryder/Tom Staar run label.
“Morenita” is the result of these two heavyweights getting together, a cool trip into vintage tribal house music, incorporating an exotic vibe and melodic approach. It’s turned into quite a DJ favorite by now, gaining support from the likes of Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero, Kryder, Yves V, Promise Land, Breathe Carolina and more.
We were inspired by the sounds of a classic pure house record with the Latin roots that we both have. We wanted to embrace the original Colombian vocal and sounds and make a Latin inspired House record that is both authentic and timeless.
