With sweet collabs taking place continuously these days, the match between Nora En Pure and Redondo definitely is one of the most striking ones. Underlining their dream collab is new single “I Got To Do” out now on Spinnin’ Deep.
Both acts have been on fire recently. South-African born, Swiss based artist Nora En Pure took the deep house scene by storm, delivering a series of critically acclaimed dance gems on home imprint Enormous Tunes these last years (including her major 2013 hit “Come With Me“), followed by several impressive DJ performances at clubs and festivals around the globe. Currently she’s touring the US alongside Swiss Dj EDX, her profile gaining more attention as we speak.
Meanwhile, Dutch duo Redondo has been making a likewise impact. Releasing some instant classics with the Ferreck Dawn collab “Something Else” and hit record “Every Single Piece” (made with Bolier and US indie band She Keeps Bees) last year, the guys enjoyed a massive summer, playing festivals like Tomorrowland, Creamfields and Extrema, receiving broad recognition for their unique take on current deep/tech house.
After their late 2015 collab with CamelPhat (the beautiful single “Paths“), the attention is again shifting towards their deep approach to current house music. As they’re musically on the same page as Nora En Pure, the anticipation for ‘I Got To Do’ has already been high. DJ support came from many artists, including tastemakers like Sam Feldt, Michael Calfan, EDX, Chocolate Puma, Lost Frequencies, Felix Jaehn and Watermät. Now it’s officially out, breaking away from winter sentiments with lovely, melodic sounds. Summer 2016 is still far away, its soundtrack is already knocking on the door right here..
Released on Flamingo Recordings, “I Got To Do” is available now on Beatport.
