About Zoe’s Place
Founded in 1995, Zoe's Place Baby Hospice provides essential respite, palliative, and end-of-life care for infants and young children aged up to five years old, supporting early-years children who have life-limiting or life-threatening complex illnesses or profound disabilities. Recently, the hospice announced it would have to close by year’s end, citing an expiring lease and a lack of time and resources to relocate. In response, a fundraising campaign has been launched, seeking to secure £5 million by November 9 to help Zoe’s Place find a new location in Liverpool.
The campaign statement explains:
“Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice is fundraising to secure a new home in Liverpool. This could involve purchasing, building, renovating, or equipping a suitable facility to continue delivering our services. If the hospice is forced to close, any restricted donations would be discussed with the donor for potential return or repurposing. Any other donations will support the care of our babies and families until year’s end. If a resolution is found, the funds will contribute to establishing a new hospice.”
