Stockholms Auktionsverk, one of Sweden’s most prestigious auction houses, will host the Avicii Collection auction. A total of 267 items, donated by Avicii’s family, will be up for bidding. All proceeds from the auction will be donated directly to the Tim Bergling Foundation, ensuring that Tim’s influence continues to make a difference.

Preserving Tim' legacy

The Avicii Collection, a charity auction featuring personal items from the late Tim Bergling (known globally as Avicii), is set to benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation. This special auction will offer a range of memorabilia, including sneakers, clothing, musical instruments, and other cherished belongings from Avicii’s personal collection, all in support of the foundation dedicated to his legacy.

One auction, multiple causes

Tim Bergling left behind some incredible things – among them, a significant number of his belongings, including sneakers, clothes, and instruments, that have been stored in Stockholm for the last six years. Given Tim’s lack of attachment to material things, his family decided that a charity auction is the most natural solution, with the proceeds directed towards The Tim Bergling Foundation.

This auction will support the Foundation’s work for young people’s mental health and other causes close to Tim’s heart, such as endangered animals, nature, and climate. This way, Tim’s belongings can contribute to the positive change he always sought to inspire.

Where will the proceeds go?

The Avicii Collection is a charity auction, meaning no reserve or buyer’s commission. All proceeds will be donated to The  Tim Bergling Foundation, founded by Tim’s parents, Klas Bergling och Anki Lidén, to commemorate their son’s memory. The Foundation advocates for the recognition of suicide as a global health crisis and actively works to remove the stigma attached to suicide and mental health issues. The Foundation works on prevention for young people’s well-being and mental health.

When will the auction be published?

The auction will be published in full on September 6th. Then, you will find all the items included online at stockholms auktionsverk.com and in The Avicii Collection – A charity auction catalog.

The Tim Bergling Foundation, established by his family, focuses on recognizing suicide as a global health crisis and works tirelessly to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues. The foundation’s mission is deeply personal, reflecting the challenges Tim faced and the ongoing impact of his music and life.

Avicii, who tragically passed away by suicide at the age of 28 in 2018, rose to global fame as a teenager, releasing his first single in 2007 and subsequently producing a series of hit singles and remixes that left an indelible mark on the music industry.

The live auction will take place at Nybrogatan 32 in Stockholm and online on October 1 at 3 p.m. local time (9 a.m. ET, 6 a.m. PT). The auction catalog will be available online from September 6, and the public viewing at Nybrogatan 32 will be open from September 24 to 30.
